As Mieka moves on to her next chapter, we want to take a moment to recognize and celebrate the incredible contributions she has made to Manufacturing Renaissance over the past 10+ years, including the past two years as our Program Director of Career Pathway Services. Mieka brought thoughtful leadership, a genuine commitment to young people, and a strong dedication to delivering our programs. From overseeing Career Pathway Services and supporting our team, to developing partnerships, and helping us better understand and measure our impact, she approached every challenge with a positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn and try something new.
What stands out most is the way Mieka has always kept the people we serve at the heart of the work. Her ability to build relationships with youth, staff, schools, community partners, and other stakeholders has been an important part of her impact at MR.
We are grateful for her leadership, energy, and commitment to our mission, and we are so proud to have been part of her journey.
