We were honored to participate in the 4th Annual Juneteenth Event with State Senator Willie Preston in the 16th District! The day was filled with unity, culture, entertainment, and an incredible sense of community pride, bringing together nearly 3,000 residents, families, friends, and community partners. It was a privilege to be invited by Community Liaison Jermont Montgomery to such a meaningful and heartwarming event. From the performances and basketball tournament to the community resources, food, and fellowship, the energy throughout the day was truly inspiring.
Seeing many people come together to celebrate Juneteenth was such a powerful reminder of the strength of community and the importance of honoring our shared history. It was also a great opportunity to support our community through the sharing of resources.
