The Chicagoland Manufacturing Renaissance Council (CMRC) is a network of organizations and individuals who are advocates for policies and programs related to expanding manufacturing in our region. Join us!
Manufacturing Connect &
Young Manufacturers Association
Training, job placements and supports for youth and young adults. Manufacturing Connect (MC) serves in-school youth, ages 14-18, and the Young Manufacturers Association (YMA) serves young adults, ages 18-29.

Manufacturing Renaissance (MR) is a Chicago-based nonprofit organization, founded in 1982 in effort to address the wide scale loss of manufacturing jobs and its impact on communities.
Today, our mission is to advance sustainable development anchored in manufacturing.
MR envisions expanding manufacturing ecosystems in most major population areas across the USA that support thriving communities, companies and social institutions through a mix of locally-applied and integrated education, training, community and economic development programs that expand inclusion in create wealth creation and prosperity among historically disenfranchised populations.
