Income inequality in the United States is at its highest level in 50 years.
Manufacturing Renaissance (MR) is a Chicago-based nonprofit organization, founded in 1982 in effort to address the wide scale loss of manufacturing jobs and its impact on communities.
Today, MR envisions advancing a new paradigm of development that builds thriving communities, companies and social institutions. Working with high road manufacturers, community and labor leaders, we can develop a mix of locally integrated education, training, community and economic development programs.
Together we can expand inclusive prosperity through workforce, economic and wealth creation opportunities among historically disenfranchised communities.
MR works across the manufacturing and community development ecosystem. Currently we operate programs across two program areas: Career Pathway Services; Policy and Advocacy.
