A big THANK YOU to 12 manufacturers who hosted 26 Manufacturing Connect participants for a Spring Break Internship during the week of April 18th. We just received the work readiness assessments back from the hosting companies and the results are in!
24 out of 26 participants earned a “Proficient” or “Exemplary” work-readiness score from their employer hosts as a result of their week-long paid internship. Azariah, an MC Senior and Senior Class Valedictorian had her internship at Shakeproof and earned an Exemplary score from her work readiness assessment. Her supervisor, Annie, shared with us “Azariah asks many questions, we exposed her to different sides of the business, the week is going great and she is really fitting in with the team.” Azariah has already been invited back to work at Shakeproof this summer.
